Wow, finally breathing again after another jam packed birthday weekend. My second oldest son Karson turned 13 on Friday the 5th and we officially have TWO teenagers. His snuggly, caring, funny, gamer loving chill spirit was just what I needed when I was chosen to became his mama and I will forever remember that day. I am so thankful for the couple of pictures I have from his birthday. Click on the image below to see a few more throwback pics from Karson's birth day.
The teens though, they could care less about pictures and so we were paintballing this year on his birthday. After paintball we went home for cake and SIX extra boys stayed over for a sleepover. Yes it was loud, but they are an
awesome bunch of boys who have been friends since pre school, and had a fun time hanging out together celebrating Karson.
They all went camping with their dads the next night up at Valley of Fire for their friend Jacob's birthday on Saturday (Him and Karson are only like 12 hours difference in birth time and so much a like too!) so I had to make sure they didn't stay up terribly late since it was going to be a loooong weekend for them all. After a Brioche French toast and fresh scrambled eggs (from my mom 's chickens) for breakfast, they all went home and met up again at the campout. It was another perfect evening under the beautiful sunset and stars with their dads.
For me, add in clean up after having 6 boys sleeping over, soccer games, soccer pictures, two photoshoots and two playdates with neighbor kids, and my dishwasher is broken :( I'd say it was a busy ass weekend I hope not to repeat anytime soon. That's when I mention that it's Zayne's 15th birthday in two weekends hahaha. OMG, will we ever be out of birthday season? Soon...Breathe...Soon....HaHa...Thankfully, I think Zayne's bday weekend will be a little bit less crazy because there won't be any camping involved.
All in all, we had a fun weekend celebrating our teen boy and his Mama still needs her 13 year old milestone shoot, but that will be happening this week whether he likes it or not.

LOOK HOW CUTE THE CHRISTMAS TREE MY MOM AND I PAINTED AT COLOR ME MINE! MY GRANDMA HAD ONE SHE HAD PAINTED YEARS AGO WHICH WAS BROKE BEYOND REPAIR IN A MOVE, AND I ALWAYS WANTED ONE FOR MY HOUSE. IT WAS SO SPECIAL GETTING TO DO THIS WITH MY MOM.
